Wagner/Lockheed quart, time to do some rubbing.

Came across one of these yesterday morning, has all the tell-tale signs of being a beer or ale can underneath. I've read a few different options on how to remove the paint, but wanted to get some input from others that have done it.

I'm probably the only guy in here, the Bottle site, that rubbed these out before. use rubbing compound by hand, will take many hours. Leon.

Yeah, I have high hopes....lol...here's another that was done a few years back. (not by me)

So what do you feel is best to use to remove that top layer?, rubbing compound and soft cloth rag?
