That's an interesting one. I found this one on eBay, which is similar (but not the exact same - https://www.ebay.ca/itm/333921932898 ) that has a date code of 1941 on the base. I'd assume yours is closer to 140s-1960s, and might actually be the latter half of that time range based on the "mottled" glass look (not sure on the specific name of that design).

Is there anything on the base?

I suspect that this one held orange juice or a Sunny D-type drink. A lot of dairies bottled that kind of thing as well, and sold them in milk-style bottles.

What size is this bottle?
If it's a pint then I'd suggest it held cream or 1/2 and 1/2.
I remember the Hood milkman and his truck, home delivery.
Us kids always looked forward to Strawberry milk during Summertime.
