If the professor told you to get it out of his office I would not go waving it around and posting to many pics of it. It could be stolen and a black market item. Could be the professor is still ****ed because he and his university was out bid by the guy. Either way I would find out which before I post anymore pics.

Looks like a native American effigy jug.does the base look like it sat in a fire pit?

there is no obvious sign of it being in a fire pit but i looked it up on google but i couldent get a clear enough answer. What is a effigy jug .
