$0.50 flask - 7/16/2005 9:38:58 PM    swizzle   Posts: 1325 Joined: 3/2/2005 From: Upstate NY Status: offline I bought this flask at a yard sale for 50 cents today. The lines on the front and back are diagonal on the flask. When you hold it up and look at it the lines intersect and create diamond shapes. I thought it looked neat so I bought it. Later I noticed on the bottom it says "UNIVERSAL" "PAT'D FEB. 8 1927". Then I took off the silver covered cap and noticed that it seals air tight with a cork liner inside the cap. I thought I got my 50 cents worth. Anyone with info on it? Swiz Attachment (1) Post #: 1

Only my flask is slightly bigger and the flask on ebay is patented 1924. Unless the guy read the date on the bottom wrong. I'm hoping that I just bought a $50 flask for .50 cents.
