its a fairly common patent medcine made probably right after the turn of the 20th century. L T Cooper ran  the Cooper medicine company in Dayton Ohio.  He was definately a quack snake oil salesman of the worst kind.

Thanks for the link Matt.  That's an interesting book, interesting read.  Amazing that there are still those charlatans around now although most of the remedies are for enlarging 'maleness' or losing weight without effort. And people still buy into it - which is why it's still around....Ron

yes, I think Roman coins are a good example. people think they would be valuable because they are over a thousand years old but you can buy 3rd century Roman coppers for 10 cent each. Supply and demand makes a huge difference.

HERES A QUICK NOTE ON METALS , I ALWAYS THOUGHT KP ON A GOLD RING WAS KARAT PLATE  , BUT IT IS KARAT PLUMB AND USUALLY HAS MORE GOLD THAN JUST KT . YOU KNOW HOW MANY PIECES OF JEWELRY I PAST UP IN THE LAST TEN YEARS AT YARD SALES THINKING IT WAS PLATED . JUST THOUGHT I WOULD LET THE UNINFORMED KNOW .  LOVE THE FORUM  , LIKE THE PEOPLE  .
