I don' t know.
The idea of me having to pay to dig an area where there' ll might be some bottles doesn' t sit well with me.
I' ve never heard of someone selling rights to look for old bottles.
Most of the people I ask will give me permission without having to pay anything.
If they don' t I look elsewhere.

Paying to dig doesn't fly with me, either. I have, and will, share the finds with the property owner, though. Payin' a fee, and then not finding any glass, or that of poor quality, would be just like throwin' the cash in the fire. Up in smoke with nothin' to show for it. Besides, it could set an ugly precedent if word gets around that you will pay to dig. Nah, I don't think so.

There are just way too many dumps out there for FREE,no use paying to dig land which may or may NOT produce.
One of the best parts of this hobby is finding the dumps to dig for free
My advice.....try eBay.

I went up with a flashlight when no one was home and found nothing but dirt. Nice dirt though, I brought some home.

Most school privies are dry because the inkwells were re-used. Plus they had the money to get them dipped often. If you said it was an old tavern I'd pay you big $$$.

If you know where they are how come you have not dug them yourself?
