If there are woods near that house I would look around there to, I have found some killer (pontil dumps) in over grown pits in the woods, behind old homes like that, I also dug a 1870s home and found a trash pit with property, marbles, and pieces of jasper cutting tools used by Indian's, the pottery was all in pieces, I also found a 1900 privy in that same yard, but never found a really good pit there, there should be many pits in a yard where the house dates in to the 1700s, it all depends how long the house was occupied, and until they got in door plumbing, if you find a 1700s privy chances are there is going is not going to be a lot of (glass) bottles, I would search like you are looking for a 1800s privy, walking distance out of the back door, and so on, if that is the only house there, get ready for some sore probe arms! I don't see any property line. that yard looks BIG, Rick
