My grandfather found a beer bottle partially barried in the dirt. He brought it home and gave it to me. The bottle is from the Warren Brewing Co Warren, PA. I've been trying to research information on the brewery. I searched online for days and it's like it didn't even exist! I contacted the Warren Historical Society and they finally scraped up information for me. The brewery was started in 1905 and went under in 1920. The brewmaster was Joseph Huber. The buildings were demolished in the mid 40's. The bottle has a tint of green and has a W with a circle around it. Around the outside top of the circle is says Warren Brewing Co. and the underside of the circle it says Warren, PA. This is all embossed. The bottle has seam marks completely to the top so I know it is ABM. Does anyone have this bottle? Also could anyone tell me the rarity of it? I live nearby Warren and no one has ever seen a bottle like this. The Historical Society has not seen one either. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The bottle is in perfect condition except for a very tiny nick on the mouth about the size of a pencil point.
