I picked up a local yearbook from the Keystone State Normal School at Saylorsburg yesterday. I was hoping to find a picture of a woman I knew who graduated from there around that time. She wasn't in the yearbook, but when the guy said $5, I didn't care. It was mine! In 1928, the name was changed to Kutztown State Teacher's College. In 1960, it became Kutztown State College and in 1983 it became Kuztown University of Pennsylvania. Old yearbooks are wonderful, as there are a lot of references to people's personalities. I thought I'd share a couple with you... maybe more later if anyone is interested.
