I just got into metal detecting about a month ago but the funny thing is I've been finding quite a bit of old bottles along the way, which is neat because I love all old things. I found this today and because of all the markings on the bottom was able to find the patent for it: http://www.google.com/patents?id=aKBzAAAAEBAJ&pg=PP2&lpg=PP2&dq=D116915&source=web&ots=xlkc-4TY6e&sig=tDoB4dBIEpruYuGwR7o_QAjxpSk&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=4&ct=result#PPA1,M1 Guess my main question is this. Even if it were somewhat rare (haven't been able to find any like it), I imagine it is worthless because half the top is broke off? Do bottles only have any value if completely intact?
