2 open salts thriftstore finds from last week - 1/10/2012 9:46:44 AM    JustDugIt Posts: 39 Joined: 1/9/2012 Status: offline Last week i got myself a 1/4 ct diamond bracelet in 18 grams of 14k .(i usually find at least 3-400$ a week in gold/silver at these places).the bracelet and these 2 salts both were 4$ each..... 800 silver hallmarked (800 JM ) ground glass im thinking 1870s? JM maybe John Mitchell, unknown JM and JM James Marr halfway down in the J's... http://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/Makers/Glasgow-GJ.html Granted, most pieces from overseas have hallmarks with symbols for locations etc...but that's for sterling usually. not sure about coin silver.
