3 piece mold Puce pontiled whiskey - 4/24/2008 3:10:54 PM    baltbottles   Posts: 919 Joined: 11/25/2002 From: Baltimore Maryland Status: online I spotted this bottle on ebay last week and was lucky enough to win it. Its a deep copper / cherry puce. The mold is one I've found many pieces of broken while digging in Baltimore. But have never been lucky enough to dig an intact example. The lip, glass color, iron pontil, andf style of the mold with the low shoulders are all very typical of 1840s Baltimore glass works products. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures.
