Here's four of the Soda Bottles I dug yesterday after I cleaned them.
left to right: Ace of Drinks this was a West Tenn Bottle , Chero Cola slugplate, Blackberry Cola and a local Coca Cola Soda Water.

Ok i'm over here drooling now, you happy? LOL. That slug plate is sweeeeet! All of them are great. Wish i could find those types.
They say a blind hog eventually finds an acorn....wonder when i'll find one. Have a good one. BAM BAM.

nice bottles , love the Chero Cola slugplate . have a question for you . what kind of paint do you use to highlight the embossing ? i have alot of slugplate milk bottles i've dug up , and what to do the same . not sure what brand to use . -- thanks .

I use Elmers paint pens from the hobby section of Wal Mart. Get the fines they work better.

Yes it comes off . I wash it out with Awesome or any spray cleaner Awesome makes it just melt away. You can buy it at Wally World also. Works great on cleaning everything. They have some new Elmers paint pens out that is dual tipped one on each end one is medium one fine about $3.95 . bob
