Been out the last two days and between running into ants and getting a shovel full of sand in my pants (thanks to my 6 yr old son and his digging skills) these are what we dug up. Only really cool bottle we found was the one on the lower left side, its embossed with Monticello, Illinois and the other side it says Dr W.B. Caldwell.

Also we found these stuck together and when I took the top one off the one below it was nearly perfect until I tilted it up to read it and then the paint fell off in flakes. No idea what they are but one says Dairy Permit... I blew up the one that was the most readable.

Hey Krystal love the whistle and other smalls.  Someone here should know exactly about those tags, my guess is they might be off the wall of some farm where trucks would come to pick up milk.  The tags on the cans that were used for farmer ID (name, town, state, can number)  were soldered on and any permit info was embossed on the can.

Thanks.   I thought maybe they were put on fence posts along a property line or something. Never would have guessed they could have been on a milk can or anything like that.

Big Fan of the old licence plates.  Very well done.  Easy to date also.  Keep it up.  Gotta be more in them hills.
