Got this today dodging rain drops.

Its a six sided "Not To Be Taken" 3 1/2 inches, obviously cobalt. Has a little bit of haze to it, but should clean up just fine.

Any additional info from the poison gurus is always appreciated.

Cheers,

Mark

Very sweet man. Dig it or yard sale. I was up to my parents today building a bottle shelf and helping my son build a tool box. I had to deliver an air compressor and work on the family garden. We gotta get together again soon for a dig man. Swiz

Swiz, three bucks at a yard sale. Guy I know used to have an antiques shop, still sells from his front porch every now and again.

Also picked up a green three piece mold, whiskey I think, for a buck. I'll post that in another section.

Thanks Rick, me too. Started bringing blue home for the woman and now I seem to gravitate towards it.

Sweet, can't beat a blue poison for $3.

Dansalata, Bombboy's the one posting the bottle, not me.

Nice find.  It's definitely English.  99% of all NTBT bottles are.  I'm guessing it has 3 plain sides, then ribs, NTBT and ribs.  This would make it a KH-29...one of the most common of this style poison.  There are many variations of the 6 sided cobalt with ribs (or without), most of which are common.  But, even the rare variations don't command a high price, because it looks like all the others, so the appeal isn't there to most.  Me, I'm in the middle of it all.  I feel a large collection of varied common poisons, English or not, can look impressive.  And best of all, it can be done for cheap.  So this is a nice start.  But, a word of caution.  Depending on if you like the aged look or the minty look, don't ever have these tumbled (unless you got your own tumbler and the time and materials is worth it) as these are so common and cheap, if you want to put together a nice display, it's not worth the money to have it cleaned as you can have your choice 24/7 on ebay of clean examples for less than a cleaning job.

Thanks Poison_Us, I thought it was English and you are correct, 3 plain, 2 ribbed one NTBT. Yes it is common but I didnt have one of that style, so it had to come home, plus it was cheap enough. Thanks for the correct number also.

I dont plan on having it tumbled, just a good soak and a little elbow grease will do just fine. I'll park it next to all my cobalt iodines I seem to be finding this year. Matter of fact I found one this morning at my dig site, got washed out of the wall during the last couple of rains. I'm not complaining.
