9 oz clear glass bottle - 2/25/2005 11:27:42 PM    amazingangel77   Posts: 1 Joined: 2/25/2005 Status: offline my cousin found a 9 oz clear glass bottle on some land around my family land and we are trying to find out its origin. It has T.H. Clark on the lable, it is set in the bottle not painted or a paper label. It has Millidgeville Georgia on the bottom with a star and a C in it. At this time I have no picture that I can post I was trying to see if anyone has heard of a bottle like this, if needed for identification I will get a pic and post. It does have the seam going through the lip so by that I assume it was manfactured after 1900. We are just curious as to where it came from and all that if anyone has any info I would appreciate info. Thanks Shannon Post #: 1

I checked the 1925 book of American bottlers and the only listing for Milledgeville Georgia is the Milledgeville Coca Cola Bottling Co. From your description, your bottle could be on either side of 1925. Post a pic if you can and maybe we can be more specific as to the date of manufacture.
