I am a jar collector but am trying to assemble a small collection consisting of individual specimens from different categories. I know nothing about medicines so a low price on this one seemed like a good chance to add a remedy. Any info such as where it was made would be appreciated. The mold line goes to the top of the neck and the top is tooled. 5&3/4" tall. The color shown is true. It is a deep blue.
the lettering is as follows:
Side, ACKERS ENGLISH REMEDY
Side, FOR ALL THROAT & LUNG DISEASES
Front, W. H. HOOKER & CO
SOLE AGENTS
NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA

Like I always say, you can't go wrong with cobalt bottles.
Actually, I don't know if I've ever said that before. Perhaps it's time to start?
Anyway, nice bottle there!

Pretty bottle but hugely common. I couldn't begin tell you how many of those I have dug and sold over the decades. I get 10-15 for them, especially if they are darker.

Nice one. Cobalt is a favorite for most folks.
