There has been discussion prior to this regaurding the Albany Flasks hopefully this will clear up the original flasks from the reproduction made by the Clevenger brothers.The Albany flasks were made in Albany N.Y. in the years 1847 to 1850.The Albany glass works were known to exist because of the pint and half pint flasks that bear its name.The following describes each known bottle:First the GI-28 (Frontside of bottle):Washington,small three quarter view facing left,in uniform,surrounded by the inscription ALBANY GLASS WORKS in a deep horse shoe arch with the words ALBANY N.Y. in two lines across the bottom of the bottle. The back side of the bottle:Full rigged ship sailing tothe right . Bottle size PINT COLORS:Light sapphire blue,Aquamarine,clear amber,dark amber,deep green,and olive green The bottle is comparatiely scarce.Here is a picture of an original GI-28 Pint:
