$50 each on the looped boots - $30 each on the glazed boots without loops - and $20 per miniature jug. Prices include shipping with tracking number and I can do better if you buy more than one piece. Tiny looped boot is already sold.

Made in Akron, Ohio by the American Marble & Toy Manufacturing Co, sometime between 1891 and 1904.

According to some helpful members - they were toys. Jugs are 1" and boots 2".

Hey Jane,

"Holyland glass juglet amulet; cf. Kofler-Truniger 204, 2.5 cm (1"), blue glass with a high open handle, mangnificent silvery iridescence; $225.00

From the collection of Alex G. Malloy, former dealer in antiquities for 40 years. Ex Robert Haas collection.

In the Ernesto Wolf Collection, Marianne Stern argues the distribution of this type of juglets, from the Holy Land to western Europe, indicates they were produced in Palestine as early Christian amulets and taken as relics or souvenirs from holy areas." From.

Nice line up Jane.

I dug one of those little jugs last year, thought it was from a doll house or something like that. Thanks for the info and good luck.

Mark
