Amateur/Novice needing help - 6/4/2003 1:30:08 PM    Guest A couple of years ago when working on a house near Dover, Kent I dug up a load of old bottles.I thought they must be worth something so I took them home with the intention of cleaning them up.Which brings us to present day still uncleaned i now would like some help from you kind people on cleaning,valuation,where to sell and dating my collection.Any help would be kindly received. First thing to do is clean w/ soap and water like you would your dishes. Avoid cleaning the ones w/ labels or ACL (painted) for now. Then, get a camera and post some of the more interesting ones here on the forum. You can also look up your bottles on eBay to see what they go for, but not all of them will show up there.
