I will post this here, because I do not know the age of it actually.

I was set up selling bottles, insulators, and other antiques at a nostalgia show yesterday. I saw lots of great glass, but nothing i wanted to spend my money on, or that i really needed. At the end, when I had started to pack up, and the other dealers were as well, I took a quick walk to the tables in my area. One person had a small box with little bottles in it, marked $5 each. I looked through them earlier in the day quickly, so i decided to check them better. Mush to my surprise, this amber cone ink was laying on top, and the dealer said he had forgot about it until later in the day, and only just put it out on his table closer to the end. I got it for 4 bucks, and was happy to get it.

Now my question is..... what is the age, any idea of maker or rarity/ value? I am pretty sure I didnt screw myself over at only 4 dollars, but I am just curious.

Makred with a crude X on the base.

1880's-1890's. Not a lot of value but you sure didn't get hurt at $4.00. Kind of neat that the glass squeezed out of the mould. In my opinion, that alone is worth 4 bucks!
