A friend of mine wants me to sell this bottle on eBay for him.
It is an amber colored pistol shaped bottle with a metal screw on lid.
Underneath the lid the muzzle of the bottle has a ground top.
The mold line goes through the entire bottle.
Has anyone seen this bottle and do you know what was in it?
My friend is 74 years old and he says it was his Mothers and he can remember it when he was a child.

Sounds like the same bottle, Ron.
I measured the pistol and it is 9 1/2" long.
Thanks for your help.

How they get revolver from flintlock/muzzleloader is beyond me, though.

Is that paper inside the cap, if so it was probably filled with candy, maybe colored sugar or some other sweet treat.

Hey Woody,

Got an update for you. Saw three, yes three figural pistols at a friends house today. Two revolvers and one like yours. All amber, all 9 1/2" long, all with a cap just like yours and all had ground lips. He dates them pre 1900 and said there worth $60. Good find.
