Hi,
I was at an estate sale today> I bought a scale from a dr's office for $12 - On my way out I noticed a couple of bottles and had to have them. I remembered that there was a place I could find out about them. I told the lady running the sale and she wrote down Antique-bottles.net to check out later.
Anyway ... I have a Bromo-Seltzer Bottle with Lid Lable and Contents (at least 1/2)
It is 4" tall 1 1/2" wide - Light-ish Blue
The Bottle - The Bottom - Circle M and the Number 7
The Base - BROMO_SELTZER _ EMERSON DRUG CO
The Lid - BROMO-SELTZERTRADE MARK REGUS PAT OFF - Keep Tightly
Closed
The Label - Net Weight GRANULAR EFFERVESCENT 1 9/32 OZS
CONTROL # 2551
"The Emerson Drug Company of Baltimore City, Maryland"

Any Ideas as to date or Value - Thanks So Much !!

Hi John,They used corks into the 1900s and lids from the 1920s. Could you put up a pic.

Good question. That is a post 1920 Bromo bottle. Label looks real nice along with the cap. The contents are nice but in general doesn't add value to the price of the bottle. The depth of color vary. The lid/label add value b/c most don't have em. Yours is a nice bottle but common also. Bromo was asprin I believe. A good debate is: Is there more catsup or bromo bottles? Still a very good looking bottle.

Hey Ben, I think the cutsup would be in there, although in my area we find a lot of Olive Oil bottles.Plus 1000's of clear no name meds.

For the love of god:

What did you do with all of those. Woof that is unreal. I'm beating up a dump but that looks like it was all pulled in one day. Did you have an army or is that multiple days. Great pics.

Hey Ben,
this was maybe 3 days, we discarded about 8000 bottles in a couple of weeks, the pics only show a few.
