My wife got this bottle from her grandma last weekend. There is no writing at all on the bottle. No letters or numbers. It is brown, 10" tall, it has a spouring spout made on it, the handle is attached (not molded in with the rest of the bottle), has a chain and each side of the bottle has a piece of leather on it with a metal picture of a man. Each side has a different man on it.

Anybody have any idea what this bottle was for, or when it was made?

For some reason, I can't upload a picture. Iwill upload when I figure this out.

Thank You

Joel

Here is one picture of the bottle. I had to resize this picture, it was too big.

Here is the other side of the bottle showing the other man. This pic is smaller!!!!

Thanks

Welcome, Joel . . .

I think the images on the sides of your bottle represent Don Quixote and Pancho Sanza(isn't that his last name?). This is a popular theme for Spanish decoration. My guess about your bottle is that it is from Spain and that it dates to the second half of the 20th century. No doubt it was made for a Spanish wine or liqueur. I don't think it is old enough to have any collector value.

Good hunting!
