Okay guys, what is this one?  I have a couple of ideas but............. it is about 7" from end to end--about 13 1/2" around --has screw on top that has threads on the other end too. Top appears to be some kind of plastic--I think its bakelite. The kicker is that there is no opening in the glass--it is sealed. Doesn't appear to have anything in it. Very, very light aqua or green....................

i say its a fire grenade too here is why i think it looks empty it may be filled with carbon dioxide how that would work is since carbon dioxide is heavier than oxygen it would sink over the fire and seal it off from any oxygen and since fire needs oxygen to burn it would smother it out  this is just my theory i dont know myself

I don't see anything indicating this may be a grenade.

Look in the nipple or spout end. Does it have screw threads? If so, or even if it doesn't, my guess is.......look in the back of your toilets. I think it's a toilet float.

We discussed these in an earlier thread, just not this exact one. Once I read it was sealed..... that's a dead giveaway of a 'float'. I've found these before (surface finds). You could use it as a grenade now, if needed.

Have another one Zane and check your messages.

And the grand prize goes to the Meechster. Who woulda thunk it were a crapper float.

put one up in thw "W" column for ya Rick. Damn I though that thing was way to big for that. I love learning something new. I can feel my brain growing as I'm reading posts in here. Maybe I should go a little easier on the beer.

In my mind I was certain it was NOT a fire grenade. However, I was also certain it was NOT a toilet float!  That is the true beauty of this forum, It takes a lot to stump everyone here. Way to go Meech!
