This bottle was found, with it's cork in place, amongst some rather dated rubble beneath a house in Boyle Heights (East Los Angeles).  The house was constructed prior to 1920 but remodeled several times since (currently slated for demolition).  The dimensions are roughly 5 1/2 inches tall, 3 3/4 inches wide at its widest, and about 1" deep.  The base measures roughly 2" by 1'.  There's a seam running along both sides and there is some interesting veining in the glass itself (due to age?).  Possibly a tiny star-like mark on the base, but no verifiable hallmarks to my eye.  Any ideas on the type of bottle, it's long lost contents, it's value (ha ha), etc.?

Contents would be alcohol. Year is probaly 1890-1910.
Value is minimal because it is not embossed.
Still a nice old bottle, though.
