I have no idea what kind of bottle or what year it is from. Found bottle with a bunch of mechanical banks his grandfather had stored away.

Hi, where do the seams on the bottle stop? Also, is the head sealed on both ends.
I think it a liquor decanter of some kind. It's nice whatever it is, I like figurals.

The bottle has 3 seams running down the bottle in thirds. The seams are Very hard to see. The seams stop were the side meets the bottom. The bottom has no seams. The glass
stopper or head again has 3 seams and is hollow on the stopper end. You can put your finger inside. I thought it was some kind of decanter too. If you look at the face the smile is sideways. I'm trying to think if there was an advertising campaign that the lady figure had a sideways smile. It does have some bubbles in the glass and the glass is quite thick.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Lori

I'm still stumped. Does the top fit real loose like it may have had a piece of plastic or something on it?
Also try this link and see it it looks like it has whats called an Owens ring.

That's a great site. But now I'm more confused. I really don't see anything like what I have. I would say it is green to yellow- I think cintron- it does have bubbles larger seed like. The bottom is perfectly flat-bottom slightly uneven. No suction marks or marks of any kind on bottom. It has 3 seams running top to bottom. It stands 14 inches tall with head on top.
The glass cork is pretty tight I don't think a plastic or rubber cork could fit in between the bottle and the glass head that seals the bottle top. The glass top-(head) I can stick my finger inside- the head is hollow. I've seen a couple figure bottles but none have the real detail this has. These were with my husbands- grandfathers's and they were stored with about 30-40 cast iron mechanical banks ranging from 1890's- 1920's. This could be newer and just added to the box of items. They were stored in my inlaws attic since my husband was born 1962 his
grandfather died before that. His parents don't know what it is either. It's a mystery.
Thanks for the great site info. It was really informative.
Thanks again Lori

Hi LORI...Welcome to the Forum.
The stopper is a give-away that the bottle was made in the 1960's and perhaps into the 70's ,as a liquor decanter.
A plastic "sleeve" was flared on one end and locked into that little slot on the end, a cork stopper was wrapped around & probably glued to the plastic...the cork "seated" upon the flared end on the plastic. The whole design made the bottle pretty tightly sealed.I have several Ezra Brooks whiskey decanters with that type of stopper/closure. They were issued in the late 1960's.
