I've got an old water jug lid if anyone is interested. It is in fairly good shape and has the following written in blue on the inside of lid: 1.FILL JAR EVERY NIGHT. 2.USE HYDRANT OR ANY GOOD WATER. 3. DRINK FREELY WHEN THIRSTY AND UPON ARISING AND RETIRING AVERAGE SIX OR MORE GLASSES DAILY. SCRUB WITH STIFF BRUSH SEMI MONTHLY. I dug this out of an early 1900s cistern and would date it there. It has a little bit of the crazing effect I believe and a fleabite or two. If anyone is interested I'll try to post a pic. I didn't know anyone collected pot lids. I figured maybe one of you guys want it worse than I do. Thanks. just let me know.

Yes I saw that too. If you're talking about the one with the kid sitting in it. This lid here is only about 8 inches around or so. I sure appreciate the reply though. Maybe someone out there can use it.
