B.A.Ornberg Repro or Genuine - 11/4/2002 11:42:16 PM    Guest Would like to hear opinions or info on this bottle.Is anyone aware of this bottle as a known reproduction . It has a pontil and an apparant tooled top,but the coloration is inconsistant and there' s not much abrasion wear also the seams are very smooth and not well defined.I suspect it is a phony.Can anyone confirm.It' s 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" .The embossing is B.A.ORNBERG,CHISTIANIA Attachment (1)   Post #: 1

I haven' t seen anything like this as a modern repro. There were a lot of newer bottles made around the 1920' s, early 30' s in Europe though. Prohibition was on in the US then and many whiskey bottles made for the American tourists around that time. It doesn' t even look like one of those to me.
