Ball,Kerr and Atlas jars - 5/2/2008 7:19:18 PM    njcarly   Posts: 2 Joined: 5/2/2008 Status: offline Hi there!  I was cleaning out the garage in my new house and I found a box full of mason/canning jars wrapped in newspaper from 1974, I know they pre-date that at least.  I have started a small Cleveland Glass collection but know nada about these jars.  I can find very little information online but this site has been super helpful!  I was hoping someone would help me identify them and determine if they have any value?  There are a lot of different kinds, but they are all clear and most are Atlas Special Mason quart sized.  The lid says Atlas Seal-All Arc-Lid.  There are also a couple of Ball Perfect Mason, Kerr "Self Sealing" Mason and one Ball that has nothing stamped on the front, just a little XXXXXXX border around the top and bottom, it's shorter and fatter than the others but has Ball on the lid.  I am putting a picture of these main 4 on here.
