I was pulling a lot of metal out of my pit but wasn't really expecting to find a frame. I'm not sure if its a car or trailer yet. So far its about 10 feet long. I have about 5 feet of overburden on top of the frame and I was digging back in under it about 3 feet and started to pull some olderish type stuff out. Cobalt Wyeth slick, a cool (although busted in two) perfume with an embossed dragonfly or some type of flying bug. Well check out some of the pics to see what I variety I've been getting.

This creepy little jaw came out of an undertakers bottle. Right into my sink. That wasn't the only unusual thing that I found in my sink yesterday.

Coca-Cola Bottling Works with a star? Weirdness!! To bad its crack and the other 3 were broken.

Wyeth eye cup that goes to the Wyeth slick that I found.

This little guy was my first find and oversaw my entire dig. Man is he a good supervisor!!

Shortly after he took charge I dug this out. Man was it wedged in good. It was between the frame and the ground. I just couldn't believe that it was whole.

Only a simply G on the back heel.

Anyone collect vintage spark plugs?

A couple of local sodas. One lip chip and the other is a glue together.

This one is crude. The seam doesn't line up right and the seam on the neck is rough. Is a beauty of a local. I love it.

A couple of lids.

And this is the last pic. He must have stowed away in one of the bottles. I put all the bottles in the sink to wash them up all shiny and new and the next thing you know this little guy was sitting in our dish strainer. You really have to love these little extras. I found him a new home in our rhododendron. Well that's it for now. I hope you all enjoyed the pics. May the bottle gods shine down on all of you. Swiz

Hey Swiz,...love all of your finds,...The little cast truck cab looks like an old chain drive Mack,...I really like that brick with the crescent moon? and the frog will have some storys to tell when he makes some new friends in the neighborhood! Great find on the jug.

Nice payoff for your efforts. I got a jug like that once. It's not easy to find them whole. Looks like your stuff dates early 1900's. Is there more to dig?

Thats amazing! nice finds! and rockbot that jaw looks like its most likely from a mammal because most fish/sharks i have seen don't have teeth like that although there is one shark i know of that does but I can't remember the name of it at the moment. How old was the dump?

Cool finds! Too bad the perfume with the dragonfly is broken. I would've kept it anyway, though, too. Love the brick!  I dug an eyecup once - it sits in my medicine cabinet... they can be rather useful!

That's a hog's jawbone. The big tusk on the front grows out when they are older than average market age..

Hey Joe. I thought the little truck cab was cool. I don't really collect the little mini cars that I find but had to bring it home for a pic. I wish I knew more about the talking brick. All I could find is a brick with a star on it. this is the first Cresent Moon brick that I've found. The frog was just a sweet bonus. I hope he finds some more tree frogs and brings them closer to our home. They make a really cool churing noise at night.

beendiggin', This dump has ranged in age from 1860's to 1930 and there's a lot more to dig yet. This is the same one I've been digging since I found the W.J. Hill 2 gallon jug a couple months ago.

Dansalata. Thanx

Rockbot. I believe its a mouses jaw. Someone probably tried to preserve it by shoving it in the Undertakers bottle. I wish I had of found it with the original cork and contents with a fully preserved mouse. That would have been cooler.

Thanx for all the comments guys. That milk glass shaker still has some green paint on it. Bombboy has the pics of it before I dug it out. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to find the pepper shaker on Thursday. Oh and that is the second sparkplug I've dug out of here so far. Oldtimer, If that's a Hog's Jaw then its the smallest hog in the world. Its only about an inch long. I'm hoping to post some more good finds on Thursday's dig after my 10 hour shift. Good luck to all with your own digs. Swiz

Hey NH, I think the big rusty box is actually a dark pic of the talking brick. The more I look at the lay out of this dump the more that I think its going to get a lot deeper before I get to the top of the hill. There's still a lot more area to dig test holes in yet. I want to start the rest of my test holes low on the hill and work my way up and into the good stuff. I have the next 3 digs all planned. I can't wait!! Swiz

Nice bottles, if you pull out a whole frame and take a pic, CAPSODA can probably tell you if it's a car frame and if it's salvageable.

The frame can stay there. I'm not about to drag it up a hill and a quarter mile through the woods to put it on top of my van. Beside the larger truck frame that my buddies are working on is much more appealing. Swiz

wow thats amazing! I've been fishing at least once a week/month for my entire life and so have en extensive knowledge of the freshwater species in my area. I'd love to live in some place like hawaii because of the diversity of the saltwater species. I stand corrected maybe the jaw could have been from a fish like that.
