I have a clear bottle, side seams, 6 1/2"t., 2 1/4 w., 1 3/4 thick with a 1/2" neck Mouth is 1"w., hole is 1/2". Back has raised graduation marks number 1-7, the word "ounces" on left side. Front has 2 raised cats and a small square with an "x" in it. The bottom ha a stylized M or H over "A", then K 2-4. The mouth appears to have been corked. Any ideas what I've got?

Hello, and welcome to the forum. Can you post a picture of your bottle? It can be very difficult to identify a bottle from a description alone unless there is a known name embossed on it. The embossed cats don't ring a bell with me. It may be a veterinary product, or the cats could just be a trade mark.

it could be a nursing bottle . they are usually 6-7 oz. and often are seen embossed with small amimals such as ducks, rabbits ect.. it sounds interesting ,but a picture would get to the point.

The H and A on the bottom of the jar seems to me to be from the Hazel Atlas glass company, who made the bottle.
Graduating measurements are found on nursing bottles and medicine bottles.
It could be a nursing bottle or baby doll nursing bottle.

Woddy you are correct on the H over A being Hazel Atlas, they used this mark 1920 to 1964.
