I'm up at inlaws to go to the farm and dig with my daughter this weekend. Buddy calls me and says he's looking at a box full of acl bottles and some milks.she wanted less than two bucks a bottle so I told him to just buy it all.I'll get pics up when I get home

She also said she has a storage unit with like seven boxes of more acl bottles and milks.she said she also has some really small milks from grand rapids.she called them quarter pints. Same deal as at the sale.one buck for soda two for milks unless we buy them all, ast which point she said shed cut its the same deal as she did at the estate sale.

Shes calling me this week.

Also, I'll get some pics of the dumps and stuff we're digging up here just to show the enormity of these dumps. Alright time to go get dirty.

thanks TJSHART....we only got to dig for 2hrs until the thunder and lightning and the downpour started.....outside of tons of junk, we came out with
2 o-so grape bottles, 1 amber krinkle orange crush from a local bottler and a 1947 7-up...i'll get pics once i get home and am not on this mac....

also found a large Pepsi bottle...couldn't find a pic online of it...the bottle was tube shaped and the body/shoulder was entirely "grippy", lilke bumps etc..left it out there cause it only had half of the label.

Sounds like a good deal. Michigan has some nice acl sodas. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new finds.

suddenly the mall up here has a consignment store and 2 antique stores...the antique stores were pretty overpriced....one had junk for bottles, the other.....she had some nice bitters bottles, like a Lash, a Warners Safe Cure...but she wants like, 100 for the lash and 200 for the warners...she had a root beer extract, cant remember the name, wasn't Hires....and I pulled out the credit card, she only accepts cash...

so at the consigment store: I picked up an aqua Chamberlain's Cough Remedy from Iowa.

a Coca Cola Light 16oz bottle, paper label....from Finland.

and a really cool cathedral, from The Jennings Co Perfumers.....guess this product was made in my hometown of Grand Rapids, Mi....I cant find anything online about it though...i see some jennings bottles, but they're newer. the seams on this bottle go to the shoulder and it looks like a pontil on the bottom with 4OZ embossed....

they had some of the quart or pint and 8oz Vernors bottles, painted label, but she wanted 9 bucks each, wasnt sure if that was expensive so might go back tomorrow. might just go digging tommorow again.....

this pic is the end of the ravine where we're digging..we started here this weekend, came up with the 2 o-so and the orange crush and the seven up (ill get pics of that later)...we got maybe a foot or two down, the banks on the side are embedded with bottles...actually as we were walking back to the house, imaging turning around and walking from this vantage, we found more bottles barely sticking out of the ground about another 50yds to a trail...insane.

this pic is where my father in law said they were hand digging a well to feed the root cellar and they got about 20' down and no water so they gave up...knowing the amount of bottles here, they were probably all drunk..father in law said the bottom of it will be from his grandpa and grandpa's friends, the upper top part where i'm finding all these bosch bottles would be from when he was a boy and his dad and his buddies just tossed them in there...and father in law is 60 now...
