Bum's root beer info request - 3/10/2010 9:38:42 PM    SODAPOPBOB Posts: 3578 Joined: 3/10/2010 Status: offline Today is my first day on this site, and thought I would get my feet wet by seeing if anyone is familiar with the Bum's root beer bottle I recently found. Although I found a couple of references to it in my books, I'm still curious as to how rare it might be. It's the first one I've ever seen or heard of, and although I have over 400 ACLs in my collection, this one has me stumped. Any input regarding rarity and/or value would be appreciated. Things are still new to me here, and being as I didn't see an edit option, I had to add this new reply to my topic. The Bum's root beer bottle was bottled by K'S Beverages Company in Los Angeles, California, and is 8 oz. ( I'll look again for that edit/modify button). Thanks for the input. I found it laying under a bush along an old highway, which is where I find about 90% of my bottles. I'm too old and lazy to be doing much digging these days, but I won't hesitate to crawl around under the bushes where passerbys have been throwing bottles out of cars since before I was born. I really like the image on this one with the bum/hobo looking guy who has a cigar stub in his mouth.
