C. J. Oeffner

Anyone know what this bottle is?  It's 2.75 inches tall.  Real weak embossing on the bottom, possibly the numbers 648, but the 4 is the only readable one.  Two seams run up on opposite sides, but looks like they stop before the lip.

The dark area you see near the mouth is just cork still jammed in there.

I had no luck googling the name.......

From the Hotel Marlborough New York City. There was a bar on the ground floor called the Rathskeller.

Hi Rick - carling -
I think I have two of these hotel sample whiskeys on my For Sale page.

Nice bottle you have there. Any ideas where it's from?

Meech,

I checked out the couple you have, very nice.  Looks like it may be a little more valuable than I thought.

I'm guessing it is from here in Cleveland, Ohio, since that is where I found it, under an attic floorboard.  I tried googling the name, but can't find anything on it to confirm.

Hi Rick -
Our local hotel samples, giveaways (whatever you want to call 'em) are very sought after and fetch $65 - $150+ and there are several local hotels that had one.

I couldn't find a thing on yours, to include my old OH bottle book. Sorry. Nice find. I like it.
