Can anyone I D this? - 2/3/2003 9:45:21 AM    Guest A hearty hello to all! I' ve just joined and already I have a question (cheeky I know). A friend has given me this bottle to sell on ebay for them. As a total novice, I cannot identify it. The markings say LMS Hotels (is this an old railway hotel?)I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me a bit about this bottle. RE: Can anyone I D this? - 2/3/2003 10:24:25 AM    Guest LMS is almost certainly London, Midland and Scottish Railway. If you are going to sell it on eBay I would suggest you put it in the Railwayana section, if there is one, because I have seen LMS chamber pots and foot-warmers at railwayana auctions and they are quite popular. I think LMS started in 1923 so the bottle is probably after that but I am not 100% certain. Do not expect it to go for much even if it is in mint condition. Good Luck!
