Can anyone help identify this tiny square bottle - 4/15/2003 9:16:06 PM

Help ! I found this tiny square bottle while digging for C.W. relics on the outskirts of Nashville, Tn. I stumbled upon the remains of an old STONE and mortar house in the woods just north of Nashville. Only 3 walls were partially standing, and there were 12" diameter trees growing thru the center of what was once a room. I' m guessing the bottle was made after the 1900' s as the seam runs all the way up to the very top of the bottle, and it had a screw on cap. Could this possibly be some kind of medicine, or perfume bottle ? Also on the bottom of the bottle is the number " 6" anf the letter " F" Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks much, and keep on diggin' Michael

LOOKS LIKE A PERFUME BOTTLE TO ME .AND YOUR RIGHT, PROB. MADE AFTER 1900. SCREW TOPS DO GO BACK PRIOR TO 1900. USUALLY IF A SCREW IS OLDER YOU WILL SEE THAT THE TOP OF THE LIP OF THE BOTTLE LOOKS LIKE IT IS GROUND FLAT .
