I found this nice bottle at a yard sale and have no clue what it is. I think it's maybe a pattern molded bottle, but that's why i'm here because there are people with more experience than me. Hopefully someone has an answer. This bottle is a light cobalt or blue color. It stands 6 1/4" high, is 5" in diameter,is 5 1/2" outside handle to outside handle and has exactly 16 swirls or (ribs) which can be felt on the outside. The glass is loaded with bubbles and a couple are as large as 3/4 of an inch in length with a couple of them with some kind of black (dirt?) in the bubble (can be seen in pic). On the bottom is a pontil mark with a raised and pointy center. On one of the handles there is a small swirl of glass protruding from the handle. In one pic you will see the pontil and a bubble with contamination in it while looking down through the neck to the bottom inside. other than that it is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or other damage that i can see. Good luck identifying and maybe put a value to it. Thanks

Hey Mike,

Welcome to the Forums. You certainly attend a better quality of yard sale than do I. Would it be possible for you to take more photos, from different angles, and including the base?

I have many photos but i'm not as computer savy as I would like to be, but if you have suggestions as to how I can post multiple pics I certainly will.

Well BusterB2006, It sure is a neat looking hand made glass piece.  As surfaceone said I don't find glass like that at many yard sales.  I will watch your thread to see what shows up here.  RED Matthews

I believe I have had the identical piece in amber. Mine might have had a pilgrim glass sticker but maybe not. If it is not Pilgrim it has a Clevenger quality about it. I don’t think I still have my amber one with the sticker but if I see it I will let you know.

If your piece is what I think it is it is worth about $15

Kinda looks like a end of day piece. The glass blowers could come up with some purty fancy stuff....Andy/djsoldstuf
