Cant Find Anything On This Bottle, HELP PLZ - 1/8/2012 11:14:51 PM    Perkdawg   Posts: 14 Joined: 1/8/2012 Status: offline I purchased this bottle from an estate sale because it looked like a good decorative piece for my wife. After making the purchase I got curious and tried to find out some information about the bottle but I have not been able to find anything on it. I have googled everything that is printed on the bottle but I have came up with nothing. Can anyone help me identify the date and value on it? Also any history you could provide on the bottle would be really cool as well. It appears there is a lot of small bubbles in the glass but its covered in wicker so I cant see too much. Also the cap matches the bottle and is made of quark. The label says its a rum bottle that was distilled in Mexico but I cant find the any information on the company. Also everytime I look up Manuel Alvarez I get infromation on the painter. Please help. [image][/image] Attachment (1) Post #: 1

It looks to me like there may be a 1930's flask or liquor bottle under that rafia. Probably recycled before recycling went green. I hope you did not pay too much for it.
