Added this English type True Cephalick Snuff yesterday. Sparkly mint, never been in the ground, and since I've been looking for a perfect example for a while I'm very happy about this. Swapped for an 1850s stoneware slab-sealed flask.

Yup. My stoneware is gradually going, but not yet all gone. Still plenty of quality left for anyone who likes that kind of thing and has British pontils to spare.

Wish I did. They're great looking bottles. The shape of the bottle, the style of the neck / lip, and the style of embossing all look continental European more than British.

Hope I'm wrong though. I'd happily live with the one with English wording: would be great if it turned out it was British.

I think it's there anyway. Great looking bottle.

I'd collect all kinds of non-British stuff if I won the lottery. I only resist the urge to branch out because of limited resources.
