I really need to join a can forum, I have so many can questions I don't want to ask here. They can wait.
This one is more urgent: How do you clean a can, that can be broken with the touch of a finger?
I can't get Oxalic acid, and citric (lemon juice) would eat it. Is there some commercial rust remover that might work on this?

The can looks beyond any restoration to me . But there is a Gentleman on here that if he sees it may be able to help you . I have found it amazing what he has done with old beer cans as for restoration . Where are you at Hemi ?
