They come up from time to time. Thats the cheapest I've seen one sell for. They usually go for around $500 the ones I've seen.

That New Mexico bottle is a clear arrow bottle. The clear arrow bottles usually go high. I've never seen an arrow bottle from South Carolina. Whats on your bottle?

I don't know how much they would go for, but this Johnson City, Tennessee one is one of two known and they are both in terrible condition. This one was dug in the area.

Thanks for all the responses folks.

Is it safe to say there are less than 10-15 known examples of this bottle ?

Im just trying to piece together what I scored here. I knew the clear ones are rare, good thing I went after this one.

It should arrive in the next day or two. I'll clean her up and share proper pics with everyone

thanks

1st ... Thanks for the links to those 1915s. I'll check'em out.
2nd .. Below is a scan from my Allan Petretti book (12th Edition - 2008)
3rd .. Petretti indicates his values are based on bottles in grades 8.5 or better.

Congrats!  We'll look forward to seeing yours all cleaned up.

Ebay has been very kind to me this week

As for the links. Just let me know if you plan on bidding. I don't want to bid against you on anything.

The bottle arrived safely/ Beautiful aqua.green tint.

but . .. . ..

Im really having a hard time cleaning off this tan color dirt? stains by the lower neck. You can notice it on the pic below.. Wire brush and barkeepers friend does nothing. not even is scolding water.

This ones going to have to be ultrasonically cleaned on maxed out settings.   We'll see what happens///

If its rust, here are the before and after pictures of an rust stained RC bottle that cleaned up real nice after I soaked it in "Distilled White Vinegar" for about 24 hours. (But zapping it wll likey do the job as well).
