Congress and Empire HELP - 5/3/2008 12:01:52 AM    LoriWhaley   Posts: 4 Joined: 5/2/2008 Status: offline I have found a Congress and Empire Spring Co. Saratoga NY bottle.  It is about 7" tall, green, and has an E on front and a 4 on the bottom.  I have searched just about everywhere for information, but the bottles that I have found on the net all have a C and different number on the bottom.  I would appreciate any information as to where to look.  Thank you in advance. Pleasant  in the mid-1800's.  Scarce to rare in the pint size - definitely harder to find in that color olive green, as opposed to the later emerald green bottles (in reply to LoriWhaley) Post #: 8

RE: Congress and Empire HELP - 5/3/2008 7:41:46 PM    annie44 Posts: 1006 Joined: 10/27/2005 Status: offline If it is the variant I think it is (E-6B) - Digger Odell's price guide shows one sold in 1994 for $425, 1999 for $240, and 2000 for $165.  I don't know the condition of those bottles which obviously affects the price considerably, and we all know price guides are just that "guides" but thought you  might like the info.
