I had a quick dig today in Biloxi, Ms. The temperature is in the upper 90's but you have to dig when the site is available
I dug my first cordial and I am pretty happy about it It is a EWBANKS TOPAZ CINCHONA CORDIAL, amber 9 5/8". The other's are, a double collared Carter's ink, a local Biloxi druggist, a light aqua 7 1/8" Dr. S. B. H. & Co. (on the base), a FERDINAND WESTHEIMER & SONS CINCINNATI, U.S.A. (w/stopper), doll's head with 11/ 0 1/2 on the back, and a jar seal that reads PATD. JANY 11th 1898 (looking through it). It has a raised S shape on the front. I have dug a few of the seals in other sizes before. Kovel's 11th Edition list the Cordial at $140. Not sure how accurate that is  Thanks for looking.
Headed back in the morning before the heat gets too bad.  Marvin

Not a bad dig at all, esp. considering the heat.. the cordial is great, but I really like the shorter amber one.. that's the Westheimers, no? Good stuff!!

Thanks,  I have an obsession with bottle digging that tells my brain to dig when a site comes open no matter what the temp is. Yeahsiree! I got it bad.
You are correct. The westheimer is the amber one with the stopper. I thought it was odd that there was no Ohio abbreviation behind Cincinnati? Just USA?  Trying to research the Westheimer right now. Thanks for looking.  Marvin

Very nice Marvin the Mole. If you are not doing anything on the 4th bring the clan on over to Seminole and have some libations and food. Just email me through the forum and let me know.

Thanks for the invite Warren.
You need to grab up Anthony and get over here this weekend to dig.  I will have my little one, but I can tell you where the site is even if I can not make it there. You could just call when you get here. My number is 228 697-9692. I'm too tired to post my digs today but I really had a good one today. I could only last about 2 1/2 hrs in this heat. Got some real neat stuff I will post a picture soon.  Thanks again,  Marvin
