Couple recent Jar finds - 3/27/2008 7:55:45 PM    tigue710 Posts: 1482 Joined: 7/11/2007 From: connecticut Status: offline Hi folks, could anyone tell me a little more about these jars besides the fact they are jars? lol... first up is on e-bay right now, Ball on the reverse shoulder, mason - patent 1858 on front... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330222856457&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT Next jar I just dug today, it seems to be an unlisted varient because it has the # 32 on it... anyway it is embossed "Patd fed 9th 1864 - w.w. lyman - 32"  really a nice jar... I looked all over for the lid when I dug it and was relieved to get home and find out it s listed with a tin lid...
