Dear "Junior" ~

Nice investigative work.

And since we're talking Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer, I thought you might enjoy this paper label example I have. No specific state or city, but was made by one of the Knox plants in 1955. I have often wondered why they would bother with a paper label in 1955 when the ACL process was so widely used at the time. As you can see this is a 12 Oz. squat version, and at the top of the label it reads King Size "Junior." In the Dad's "Family" there was also a 1/2 Gal. "Papa" Size, and a Full Qt. "Mama" Size.

Here's another variation, which at first glance looks identical to your's, but upon closer inspection you will notice it doesn't have "Old Fashioned" or "Root Beer" on the label, and the word "Dad's" is much larger. Mine is 1953 from Denver, Colorado and has "Dad's'" embossed on the shoulder. Now I'm wondering how many variations there are.  Also, you said your's was a 10 OZ., but unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, I see "7 Oz." on the label. Which is what mine is as well. I have always liked these bottles - although common - they have great graphics, and use three colors, which is kind of unusual for a run-of-the-mill bottle.

I have a FULL AND CAPPED 7oz "Junior" 1949 from St. Louis in very good condition. Anyone have an idea what it is worth?
