I dig in that area ever Christmas when I'm down there visiting relatives in December/January. We could always meet up then for some digging? LEON.

Hey I live on the outskirts of Birmingham, and I have run into the same problem of the dumps being all dug out. I have been doing research trying to find the older dumps but have not been able. I would love to dig a dump that has not been dug yet if you might have some clues to where other dumps may be I would be willing to do some research and try to help find them I am currently researching Ensley and Bessemer. I have even thought about trying to find the privies. My name is Jason and I love to dig old bottles.
                                                                           Thanks
