Double Eagle w/o ovals? - 10/15/2008 10:49:01 AM    Bent_Twig Posts: 393 Joined: 10/8/2008 From: Northern Ohio Status: offline Has anyone seen a double eagle w/o the ovals below the eagles? I am thinking about this one but the lack of ovals has me worried. I would like to start a flask collection but I am pretty new to bottle collecting. It's been published many times over the years.  There are probably other references that cover more by now. I use the auction sites to research and they see a lot of flasks come and go.  Try American Bottle Auctions, Jim Hagenbuch,  or Heckler to start.  Looks like an old flask from the pics, but I can't be sure.  (in reply to Bent_Twig) Post #: 5
