Dr.Dyott is sentenced for Bank Fraud. - 2/26/2011 2:52:04 PM    Steve/sewell Posts: 4289 Joined: 1/23/2010 Status: offline I just got this newspaper today along with four others.In this particular newspaper from Washington D C there on page 3 at the bottom is the news story telling the outcome of Dr.Dyotts trial for Bank fraud.Helen Mckearin was correct on the date of June 1st 1839 as to him being found guilty.The actual date of his sentencing was as she stated Saturday August 31st 1839 as he was convicted and sentenced as the newspaper completely corroborates the events as Helen told them in her book Bottles,Flasks and Dr. Dyott .Here is page 69 from the Banker and Bankrupt chapter from the book.
