When viewing this bottle from the front it looks like your every day run of the mill Booz bottle and for the most part it is.
Most collectors do not desire large bubbles in glass as it is obvious for the most part that they detract the value and could burst at any time.
Sometimes the gaffers were having a hard time blowing bottles on certain days too hot too cold he may have been sick ect.ect.
The gaffer on this bottle must have been using bubble gum in his glass batch as this might just be one of the longest running bubbles on a
Booz bottle or any bottle for that matter. It starts out on the 1840 side of the roof gutter travels diagonally through the letters Philadelphia and then into Walnut Street. Before he ran out of breath he place one more 2 inch bubble shaped like a hockey stick on the other side of the bottle. The bottle is in near mint condition otherwise. It has become one of my favorites because of the large bubbles. The first picture is a front shot.

I purchased it at a antique shop in Maine. I got it for $68.00 but wasn't sure if it was a repro until I did some reseach and found out it was the real deal. I kept it for a few years but was talked into selling it by family members who thought that it might get broken . I wish I had never sold it to this day.

Hi justglass did I get the bottle from you? I thought I bought it at auction two years ago.I had the bottle cleaned and all the hazy areas came up real nice.
As for the chip in the lower corner I had it buffed out and you cant tell anymore there was glass missing. It is one of my favorite Booz bottles in my collection.Sorry you had to sell the bottle it is beautifull I wish more people here at the forum collected these as I love seeing them all the time.

Im guessing that the bottle might have change hands a few times. That stupid little cornner chip kept me from getting its potenial value. But I still did alright. Ive never seen a eg booze bottle that can come close to the beauty and crudness of the one you own.

Yes its still worth $2000.00 but without the chip easily $4000.00 and up.Other then the chip the bottle is in remarkable shape and I agree it is one of the crudest examples I have ever seen.

It's a small world...   At least you know where it is and it's in good hands.  Maybe Steve will grant you visitation.

Bottle visitation rights,I wonder if a divorce settlement has ever had this clause in it.
There arent too many husband wife teams that collect bottles usually the hobby drives the non collector
to drinking of hard liquors. There are a couple of teams here on the forum that collect together maybe
they should look into post nuptials regaurding their glass collections.

They would not be considered children to us, more like "the precious" to Gollum.
